We administer a complete battery of standardized and nationally normed tests. The reading assessment involves a receptive vocabulary assessment, a reading fluency assessment, and a standardized test. The math portion involves a basic facts assessment and a standardized test to identify specific skill and concept gaps.
Results of the assessments yield a detailed analysis of the reading and/or math skill levels at which the student is currently functioning.
We believe the initial assessment is the first key to the success of our students. We use this assessment as a map to determine the skill areas that are put into a proposed customized learning plan. This information is shared in a meeting between the Director and the parents. After the results conference, a final program is designed for your child.
Assessments are scheduled by appointment.
After 40 sessions, a progress assessment is given to document growth.
