F.A.Q
Initially, contact is made with the director to schedule an assessment. Next, the results are reviewed with the parent/guardian and an estimation for completion of the program is planned. Upon agreement to receive instruction, the director will schedule session times and finalize the customized learning plan. As the student starts completing the plan, instructors and the director review completed lessons and determine mastery levels. Upon mastery of a skill the student advances levels. This is a very prescriptive process and over time students develop and progress to higher skill levels.
Reading and Math are the core focuses for Enid Learning Academy. Most other subjects are based on a solid understanding of reading and math concepts. We also offer a program of Study Skills geared to help high school and middle school students learn new skills for classroom success. We offer an ACT Preparation program to help high school students prepare for this national college entrance exam.
Our program is geared for students in Kindergarten through High School.
Session times are 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 during the school year. Each session generally lasts one hour. Students usually come two sessions per week. Tutoring days are Mondays through Thursdays. During the summer, morning and early afternoon times are also available.
Enid Learning Academy is open year round.
We offer an individualized, high-quality tutoring program. We are confident you will be pleased with your child's progress and do not require a contract for their participation. A Policies and Agreements form is filled out prior to students attending the Academy. This is not a contract and does allow for students to leave the program by completing an Early Withdrawal form two weeks prior to ending sessions.
We ask parents to allow their child at least ten sessions to begin seeing the positive results.
While we do not require you to commit to a specific length of stay in our program, we do request two week notice of your intent to withdraw your child from the program. A two week notice allows us the opportunity to try and finish the skills that your student is currently focusing on. It also allows your child to come to a natural end with the instructor who has gotten to know them.
There is an initial cost for the assessment. There are three different options for the cost of instruction. One option is a monthly payment. Another option is to prepay for a package of sessions. The third option is the Family Budget Plan.
